Lighting

I explored the idea of lanterns, using votive candles, with maille. Inspirations came from various sources.

This was inspired partly by those dripping oil lamps, that have the droplets running down the threads.	The rest of it became a design challenge. Trying to suspend diagonal strands of full persian in bronze with tiny strands of stainless steel byzantine took some calculation. Yes, there was math involved.
This one is all in galvy, which makes it grey but also indoor/outdoor suitable.	The galvy chandelier, which I had hoped might grace someone's campsite, but never found a home.
